Louie is a seasoned executive with background in both venture capital investment and business operations. He was a partner at the Silicon Valley venture capital firm AsiaTech Management and a venture partner at ARCH Venture Partners. The companies he invested and successfully exited include Maxlinear (semiconductor, IPO), Netlogic Micro (semiconductor, IPO), 21Vianet (Internet, IPO).

His operation experience including engineering and marketing role at Fortune 500 companies at HP, Lucent Technologies and Westinghouse Electric. He is currently CEO of a bakery café company in China, where he led the company to grow from a small whole sale supplier to a leading regional brand with 300+ stores and 10+ fold revenue growth. He is also an investor in a Hangzhou based Chinese fast casual restaurant chain Yaobude Dumpling with 60+ stores. .

Louie holds a BS from Tsinghua University and MBA from University of Chicago. He currently serves on the board Visual On, Meilong Food, ERIX Solutions.
